In the latest World Bank rankings (2020), New Zealand once again ranked as the top jurisdiction for doing business. The study looks a business from inception and establishment through operation to wind-down, including dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts, and resolving insolvency.
